Our company ready for the EUDR
Transparent delivery and full compliance with new EU regulations
The EUDR (EU Deforestation Regulation) is the European Union Regulation on reducing deforestation. It aims to ensure that products placed on the EU market do not come from areas where deforestation or forest degradation has occurred and that they have been legally and sustainably harvested.
The new legislation requires companies to carry out due diligence - that is, to collect and provide information confirming the origin of raw materials, their compliance with the laws of the country of production and the absence of any link to deforestation.
What does this mean for our customers?
Our company is fully prepared to comply with the new EUDR requirements. From now on, every shipment from our company will contain the complete data needed to confirm the origin of the products.
For each shipment you will receive from us:
- a reference and verification number, either placed on the delivery documents (e.g. bill of lading) or sent as a PDF file,
- a DDS (Due Diligence Statement) document - prepared by Etyfol in the EU TRACES system.
On the basis of this data, you will be able to provide your customer with a confirmation of the origin of the goods, as well as independently check in the EU system that the product meets all EUDR requirements.
This is a simple and transparent solution that facilitates cooperation and gives you confidence that the entire supply chain is legal.
What does the DDS document contain?
In the document you will find, among other things:
- the name and description of the product (for timber: common name and full species name),
- quantity (net weight in kg),
- country of origin,
- the geolocation of the parcels from which the raw material comes (for composite products, all production parcels),
- the date or period of production,
- details of the companies involved in the supply chain (name, address, e-mail address),
- confirmation that the products do not contribute to deforestation and have been produced in accordance with the regulations of the country of origin.
Why do we do this?
At IBCS Poland, we believe that responsible production and transparency in the supply chain is the future of the industry. Implementing an EUDR is not only a regulatory obligation, but more importantly our step towards environmental protection and sustainability.
As a result, you can be sure that when you work with Etyfol, you are getting:
✅ legally compliant products,
✅ a verified source of origin,
✅ full transparency and security of supply.
