Thermal transfer labels

We produce self-adhesive thermal transfer labels on rolls, both blank and colour ones, printed using flexographic or digital technology.

To print thermal transfer labels, suitable colour ribbon must be used. Thermal transfer labels can be made from self-adhesive paper or various types of self-adhesive film, even very heavy-duty stock used in industry.

They are used primarily in logistics, trade, industry and warehouse operations. They enable the related operations to run properly and the goods to be identified efficiently.

Basic specifications for thermal transfer labels

Thermal transfer labels can be produced from self-adhesive paper or from various types of self-adhesive film (even very heavy-duty grades). We use them for labelling goods, pallets and boxes. They can be pre-printed with any colour. Such printing, however, requires the use of suitable ribbons.

In certain situations the printing of a thermal transfer label requires the use of a special ribbon, a wax or wax-resin ribbon types. Ribbons are used where the labels will be stored with the packaging for several months or more. In this case, ribbons offer good print quality on paper labels (both matt and semi-gloss) and on some film labels.

What are thermal transfer labels designed for?

Thermal transfer labels are mainly expected to be legible (even though they are usually small in size). In addition, the permanence of the printed information is important. This durability is time-limited, covering the storage period of the product, its storage on the shelf, until the package is discarded.

Thermal transfer labels are characterised by high quality. They are also characterised by resistance to external conditions, including UV radiation, moisture and temperature.
