Why labelling is important in a warehouse?
In the warehouse, as in logistics as a whole, a number of different types of labels are used which serve a variety of functions. Labels are used for racks, shelves, boxes and crates. Other, larger signs, in turn, organise the movement around the halls. For warehouse labelling, there are signs painted on the floors and walls, simple labels, and label boards attached in various ways.

Labelling is indeed an essential element of supply chain logistics processes, in which IBCS Poland specialises. We offer comprehensive solutions in this area:
- Labels for shelves and racks, including high storage applications. We offer several different solutions, for example, oblique labels on long-life labels or portable PVC boards;
- Inventory labels: similar, but complementary to the labels described above;
- Hang tags used to mark out (for example) pallet storage areas, ramps or loading docks. We customise labels to the needs of a particular warehouse;
- Floor labels: useful especially in warehouses where foot traffic is prevalent. We offer durable self-adhesive labels for marking location addresses or for interfacing with management systems;
- Rack boards: which improve movement around the warehouse; we can print boards of any size or colour;
- Durable labels for transport boxes and crates. The labelling of these types of surfaces requires particular durability of the labels, which is achieved by lamination or other means;
- Non-stick labels to allow replacement of labels without soiling the surface.
We can also offer our customers the installation of warehouse signs, from rack labels to suspended boards. In addition, we carry out professional painting of signs on floors and walls – our various paints are suitable for any type of industrial plant or warehouse.
